One of the guys here in Colorado asked me to post this, pictures coming as soon as Bonner wakes up.

Remington 40X 22 LR for sale
I have not been shooting this rifle much in the last couple of years and need to make room in my safe.
I bought this in Arizona about 7 years ago from an older gentleman getting out of the game, it was nearly new then. I would guess that I have shot less than 2 cases of ammunition through the Krieger barrel.

Here's the stats on the gun. Remington 40X plated with matte finish
24" fluted match grade Krieger barrel
Jewell Trigger-very light
McMillian thumbhole silhouette stock
The 24X Weaver scope is not included for asking price.

This gun is incredibly accurate with very little barrel wear, I will have it at the nationals this weekend and anyone seriously interested in buying it is welcome to shoot it.
40X's are famous for their accuracy and this one is no exception, it could do double duty as your BR-50 rifle as well.
If you built one of these today it would easily cost more than 3,000.00 I've enjoyed this rifle but am serious about selling it, the first 1725.00 takes it home.
You can call me at 303-625-3084 or email at [email protected] to reserve a first showing, I should be at the range by noon on Saturday. Serious inquiries only please. No trades, no personal checks unless you are well known.

Gary
Pictures coming soon.

Can you let me know the weight and whether the barrel qualifies for hunter class.

The barrel definitely qualifies for Hunter, but unfortunately the thumbhole stock will not.

Very hard to make hunter's weight with that heavy action and barrel. I had Mark Pharr put one together for me, the barrel on mine is a lot lighter than the one in the pictures and it barely made weight with the lighter components I could find.

That gun is awesome. I wish I could have 1 or even could try to kill some wild animals.
