700 Rem 243 Take-off Barrel FS

Ladies and Gents,
On offer is a never-fired, 700 Remington, factory barrel in 243. It is 22" long, about a # 2 taper. The barrel weighs 2.69 lbs with front and rear barrel sights. The twist rate is 9.25. That means one can shoot the 95-gr Berger VLD's (they shoot fantastical for out-to-turkeys at about 2,700 fps.) The Hornady, .243, 100gr InterLockĀ® SP bullets would be a wise choice for rams at about 2,900 fps. Or, this barrel would make a dandy, lightweight, hunting rifle for deer on down.
The barrel was bore-scoped after removing the bore preservative. There is not the slightest hint of rust in this chromoly barrel. And, it has the most uniform and smoothest bore of any factory barrel I've ever bore-scoped with a 25X Hawkeye bore-scope. This is one fine barrel for only $100 shipped to you, I pay shipping and insurance. Below are a couple of pictures of the barrel.
