Ladies and Gents,
SOLD
On offer is a stainless steel, Remington take-off barrel for a 700 Short action. It has about 50 rounds though it; 15 to break it in (shoot 1 clean x 15) and the rest of the rounds were fired for stability testing at 100 yards. The 9-twist barrel will not stabilize 142 SMK's or 139 Secnars. Boattail bullets under 130 grains shot well as did Hornady 140gr InterLock bullets, ideal for rams. The lightweight 22" barrel would be ideal for a light Mountain Rifle or a youngster itching for some serious bang-clanging and Mom and Dad looking for a low-cost entry barrel. The bore is pristine, better than new, as it is broken-in properly. The barrel weighs 2.11 lbs and is a # 2 taper. The asking price is $100 shipped to you all shipping paid by me. Here are a few picks.
