I am looking for a pharr rts stock in serviceable condition for my 1712 .scratches scuffs or blemishes are not a problem as i can fix these and i prefer a camo paint finish anyway. let me know what you might have.

Greg,

I recently received a Pharr RT/S pattern walnut stock from George at Treebone Carving. I told him when I ordered that I was planning to dip it (Hydroprint) and he hooked me up with a "paint grade" for well under $300. The wood grain is ugly as expected but it appears to be sturdy and should serve its purpose well. In an age where the composites are "unobtanium", this seems like a pretty good alternative...

Forgot to mention that the "rough finish" or whatever he calls it is more like 97-98% so wont take much work to get ready for paint.
