Southern Nationals Thank you to the competitors

After 22 years and a lot of LARGE times, meeting the greatest people that have come and supported us and a lot of great food and beverages; I want to thank everyone that ever attended our match. Jerry and I are just tired both physically and mentally and want to pass the torch to someone else. We could not have done this event for the past 22 years without a lot of help and support from Robin Ulmer in my office and our wives that have put up with a lot a stuff! I also want to thank all of our great National Sponsors and local sponsors but especially the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism that have made this match possible. I certainly do not want to leave out all the individuals that have volunteered to assist us in the stat office, running shoot offs and many other tasks that made things so much easier for our small staff. I am not even going to attempt to name all of our friends that helped us and were also competing in the matches!

With all that being said, we are going to host the Southern Nationals Reunion the first weekend of June, 2013. More details will be posted after we finish with all the thank you letters that need to be sent out to our sponsors. It will be a fee of $50 and will include the prizes that we have been known for. There are several shooters that have expressed interest in hosting some type of smallbore match at the same time the Party is going on. I am 90% sure that the team of Bill Motl, Mary Watkins and Pat Steiger are going to have an air rifle match next year.

If anyone is seriously interested in running a match on our facilities, please contact me or Jerry and we will certainly let you use our facilities at no charge during our Reunion Party. I will also let you know all the details of what we have done each year and give you any type of advice that you ask for.
