I have a Anschutz 54:18 I want rebarreled. I would like to go with a Lilja, I need to no what contour, length, tight bore or not? I am not shooting in hunter class so I need to be at 10 pounds 2 oz. I have a McMillan master class silhouette stock coming in the mail. My scope is a leupold sillouhette. Also a great gunsmith to do it. Any suggestions?

One Shot,
I built a gun like your starting several years ago and like a dummy turned it into a hunter gun. Started with a McMillan Master stock, Anschutz 54-18 repeater. I had a Lilja 1" od fluted barrel 25" long with the tite bore. Was a couple of onces under the standard rifle weight limit even with a Leupold Premier 18x40. Here are a couple of pictures of what I had and what I turned it into. Even though I ended up with a top level hunter I gave up a gun that I shot my grand slam with. I am building a standard rifle myself right now on a 10X III repeater action. It will have a .920 OD barrel 18" long threaded for a bloop tube. It will be in a McMillan Master stock again that will allow me to put 2 & 4 once weights on the barrel which will allow me to play with the balance of the gun.
Standard Rifle

Hunter gun that it ended up with after tearing the standard gun down about four years ago.

I suggest you go with a Lilja tight bore, 4 grooves, 16 twist, in a 53 RF contour and finished at 24" long. You should not have any problem making weight with the Mc Millan stock.
