Entry Form for 2012 Southern Nationals

Everyone,
This year will be my FIRST/LAST Southern Nationals!!!
I'm so excited I've already made a Vacation request at work (approved).
I've made reservations - rooms going fast!
Car is in working order - and keeping an eye on anything that might creep up and cause problems.
I have found the links to the entry forms on this site and Winnsboro's site. All of them are for past years. I know there's plenty of time to register/pay, but I need to move while I have the cashflow! It ($) may not be there when the forms are all updated!!! I guess I could have just PM'd Duckgumbo, but I though about the collective wisdome out there and jumped into writing this post.
Should I go ahead and fill out the "old" form and send in "last year's costs" for both matches? If the costs change, I can send in an ammended figure - hopefull it won't be too much more!
Should I just sit tight, put the cash in a mason jar marked "SOUTHERN NATIONALS - Don't touch and you won't get your fingers broken!" and keep waiting, because Duckgumbo will get the new form out in plenty of time for "early bird prizes?
Thanks,
ShootingStar

Yeah I would just stick the money in a safe place and consider it already spent, no different than if you actually sent it in right now. If you have the hotel room already you took care of the main PITA.

Hey Pat, we will be at the Quinta too (in Jax) although I'm not sure why. My first time there they were throwing chairs in the pool from the 2nd floor and last year Baby Huey's Dad slept with his 9mm because their door wouldn't lock. But you can walk to that Montana Grill and have a great bison steak. See ya there. Kev

Let me clarify what exactly happened at what that year we coined the "LaCoontaquinta"

First of all, my dad, hammy and I checked in around 1pm that day, everything looked good! Hammy checked into his room as we did with ours. So we tell hammy to meet us up at out room at 2pm and we'll figure out where we were gonna eat that night! Very important matter! So as we are heading out for some "Cans of Hydration"

I notice the lock on our room isn't working at ALL!!! I locked it, and it looked ok, but I have a habit of always turning the door knob just to check! Sure enough, WALA, opened like it wasn't locked at all! So we figure ok, just a little bump in the road, luckily it was early enough to get our room switched! So all is good now, we get the new room, hangout a little with our "Cans of Hydration" myself with a 12pack, of rootbeer!

We then find out that once inside the new room, now instead of it being easy to get in and out the door handle didn't turn enough to get out! So between my pops and I we say to ourselves if we can't get out, they can't get in! Between the two of us though we always managed to get out in a couple of minutes!

Later that night is where the story gets really interesting! That night some large black family, and I do mean large in more than a few ways must have been having their yearly hooha, at the LaQuinta aka the LaCoontaquinta. That night my pops and I had to tolerate constant kids running up and down the halls, extra loud conversations, and the occasional bang on the door, so as a result of all this my pops pretty much slept with his H&K USP 45 Fullsize right next to him. That night was quite funny though cause everytime the got loud my dad would always joke around saying how fast do ya think they'd all scatter if a random shot came flying through the door!

The next night the reunion must have been over as they all were nowhere to be found!

Gator, did you read the kids description? He needs to carry a "Quasi" with him to clean out the pool.

A "Quasi" isn't that a giant lizard, or a GIANT TWISTED NECKED GOOSE!!!

As usual, way to much politically incorrect information.

Oops! Apparently this was not one of my more lucid moments.
Southern Classic, Southern Nationals... But I always have to head NORTH to get there!
The only one I don't have to is The Sunshine Games down in Hollywood.

I didn't have any problems there. Not like the one on 103rd.
Bison sounds good!
