More expensive to feed, but worth it.

Frankfort Arsenal

Post by Jim Beckley »

No not the product line from Midway. Years ago I was at Ben Avery and a shooter was there putting some rounds down range with his 03/A3 and I noticed the headstamp on his brass was marked FA and then the year, I asked him what FA meant and he told me that it was Frankfort Arsenal (just googled it up again, pretty interesting read, if you are into that sort of thing), but anyhow he told me that it was the plant for military ammo before Lake City. I bought a 06 yesterday and it had 20 pieces of brass with it and they were headstamped FA.

I have FA marked 45 acp and 30 06 brass. I think that stuff could have corrosive primers.
