If I may be forgiven, this is the time of year to remember friends we have lost during year and give thanks for the honor and pleasure of having known them as well as friends...brothers and sisters in arms...still with us. Remember not just the Christian beliefs of our founding fathers, but the courage and foresight of the leaders of our young nation as General Wasington lead the Continental Army across the freezing waters of the Deleware In what would become known as the Battle of Trenton the day after Christmas in what was, perhaps, the most significant battle of the struggle for independence. Remember those who serve this day in far away places and pray for our nation. Merry Christmas and may God bless and keep the United States of America.
