B Day and Christmas Wishes!

Not in any particular order but here is mine! That my dog would shit in one spot, so it would be easier to clean up, that she would go before I started mowing the grass and not during. That Sara McAlice puts her foot down this year and makes Bob get a cell phone. That Baby Huey makes it to St. Louis this year, so Snake and McAlice isn't the only ones with a 7-08 there. That if someone dies in a third world muslim raghead shit hole it's a terrorist and not one of our service guys/gals. That Grenz straightens up and flys right and doesn't hijack anymore threads. That Mary still says "Thats Nice", and finally that the current leaders of this country go bellyup in Nov and someone takes over that can get U.S. going.

Jim...Congrats on getting another year in the books. They seem to come around faster and faster every year.

Here's somthing to salute our troops for the great work they do on our behalf. Merry Christmas.

Jim, I got my stuff together. It is way too heavy to pick up with everyone elses BS mixed in. :ymdevil:

While we are on the wish list, Bob needs to get a good 6.5. :-bd

Jim, when Sara's boss got her one of those 4 gee whiz phones (his dime) she insisted I have her old one. She should have known better. She was a little pissed when she saw what I did to it. She had to call Verizon and cancel the contract after I cancelled the phone.

Jerry, going to a 6.5 would be a step in the wrong direction.

I just got home after a successful weekend elk hunt. It was COLD at 7am Saturday, three above zero. I surprised a dozen cows below me, or they surprised me after topping a ridge at 8am. They bolted fast through a mix of sage and scrub oak. I finally got on a big one while it was running through a small open spot. Shot one missed an inch over the shoulder. She changed direction at the impact in the dirt and gave me a brief broadside shot, although still on the run. The .30 cal. 180gr. Nosler B-tip fired from the M70 found the mark at the top of the shoulder. The bullet passed clean through taking out the upper side of the lungs. It fell after a few more steps. Distance was about 250 yards. The freezer is full again. 8)
