It took me just about a year to do it but I have finally completed my first leg of my Grand Slam for hunter rifle. Shot 10 Rams in a row today and broke my persol best of a 29 and shot a 30 aswell!





PS... The biggest thing I took away from shooting in Tennessee was, ya cant shoot good without the proper barrel warmer! It has now been dubbed lucky now, since this was the first match I used it, and looked what happened!!!





PSS.... The funny part about the match that I shot the 30 in was that I only shot 6chicks and 7pigs on the front half. The back half I knocked down 7turkeys and 10rams, go figure!

With all the yeehawing and dancing it's a miracle I didn't leave more than three Rams on that red rack. And what's up with that godawful bun warmer, it was only 80 degreees today. Congrats my boy, and he did grill 200 hotdogs for our Ladies Day yesterday. Keep us posted when you knock down ten turkeys..

Ya, I'm a little lopsided lol. My 5's went rams, chicks, pigs, then turkeys. It might follow lol. I think I'm gonna get the turkeys out of the way next though!

If BH was dancing around I am surprised everyone didn't end up with 10 animals falling off all the racks.

Congrats BH on the 10 in a row and the new personal best score. Those first ten in a rows can make a whole match worthwhile with satisfaction, especially when you don't blow it on the other 3 animals and still get a new personal best score.

Of course I hope you recognize the fact that without those particular "magical scope rings" odds are you wouldn't have broken 20 much less got a 10 in a row. So make sure to give credit where credit is due.

I think youd need the barrel warmer if you were at ridgway it was in the upper 20's and lower 30's all last week
