I just bought a Kimber HS with the factory bases. What height rings are you HS shooters using? What ammo are you guys using? Mine didnt come with the factory test target.

My wife has one, she started out with the extra high rings but recently went to the standard highs, you hear alot of rumors about the accuracy of these guns, my wife's is not picky about the ammo, RWS target, yellow box Eley and SK standard all shoot excellent in hers.

I have a Kimber HS that I shoot in Silhouette. I removed the factory bases (wgt problem)
and replaced them with Wayne Merier bases. Got me right up to max. legal hgt. 1 1/2"

The lightest ring and base combination that I've found is a one piece made by Talley Mfg.

My Kimber likes the high dollar ammo, but I've settled on Wolf Match Target or SK
Standard Plus. It will shoot 1 1/2" groups at 100m with that ammo. I'm thinking about
going to CCI Standard Velocity. Quite a difference in price.
