Thank you for your appreciation.
Wasn't all that long ago when I didn't admit being a vet, kept my "memorabila" in the attic, never went to a Legion or VFW. When I was in, being called a Baby Killer, murderer, being spit at, etc was not all that uncommon. When asked where I have been (when I came home) I said, "Been working for the government, overseas". Took me a long time to get over that....... still not all that comfortable with some......But, It is refreshing and nice to see the vast majority giving us the thanks and respect we earned.
