I am a total newbie to this sport, don't even have a small bore rifle yet. I am looking to get started within as reasonable a budget as I possibly can. Being as there is no RF silhouette ranges (that I am aware of) anwhere near the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina, I and a couple of friends, are totally on our own. I would like to find place where I can purchase steel targets, at a reasonable price. I am also looking for an alternative to steel in a paper target that can be used for practice. Is there anyplace that sells the silouettes printed on paper? Good for a one man day at the range?

Being as I will be nearly solo in my efforts, I will appreciate any and all help in my endeavors!!

You may want to think about swingers too. Not as fun as shooting free standing animals, but it is great practice and you don't have to reset or build target stands.
