I would like to compliment Doug Mallory, Chief Range Officer, and the Monroe County Gun Club (Paris, MO) for hosting an excellent regional championship. I know this match was a lot of work and they did a great job running it. For lunch, Doug's dad (age 91) cooked up more pork steaks than could be eaten. There was fried potatoes with onions, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, and home-made apple pie. I think everyone's afternoon scores suffered a little bit after that feast!

Ding Dang Doodle, how did I miss this Regional Championship right in my backyard? I guess I need to keep a closer eye on the silhouette calendar.

Don't all grab your maps now but MO is in the east half of the USA.

I'm just a little disappointed that I didn't realize this match was taking place, less than 150 miles from my home.
