Hollow Point Ammo for Silhouette?

Hello!

Is there any problem using a subsonic hollow point ammo for silhouette? The reason I ask is it would simplify things to just shoot one ammo that could have a dual use for silhouette and squirrel hunting. SK sub sonic hollow point is the one I have in mind.

Thank You! :)

Any sk is really probably fine, just no high velocity stuff. Probably shoots just as good as the round nose ammo is some cases. I wouldn't worry about it to much.

The subsonic SK is more expensive. I'd test them both and see if they have the same point of impact. If so then use the cheaper RN ammo for silhouette.

If the hollowpoint is accurate in your gun and you like it - just shoot it for everything and have fun.
