Right now I only have a match winner certificate made, but I plan on making a new shooter certificate and a few other award titles. Ideas are welcomed! A most improved award every few months I am also gonna give out! Feel free to email me with some request and with a little editing I'll make ya one to use for your club matches aswell. Just gonna send the word file for you to print out. Feel like this is the least I can do for a group of people and shooters that has welcomed me with such open arms! Thanks guys. Started shooting silhouette this month exactly one year ago!
Right now I plan on using just glossy photo paper as the one I printed out on my printer came out really well. Thanks also to psteiger who gave me the idea to do this whether he knows it or not. Think of what you wrote the info on in the envelope Pat.
Who knows, maybe this will be a small step to help and try to keep new shooters comming back!

A certificate is something to think about at our club! We give out the usual Match and 1st place class pins which we like to receive and wear. I will discuss with our group as a certificate idea along with usual pins at our winter indoor start-up in January. Your design is great and maybe we will order from you with the Beloit Rifle Club name. Jon

Here are a couple other certificates for ideas. Only so much you can do with them but you can make them different. You can also have the occasional food match where the person getting the highest animal count that day wins some groceries. Most chickens gets a dozen eggs, most pigs a pack of bacon, most turkeys so sort of turkey and rams I think I got lamb chops lol. Just make sure to spread it around IE if you get one person who shot the most on 3 animals they get first pick of the three and then move on to the next in line. I also like the idea of match winner pins to collect but that would probably get costly and most local matches are won by a handful of guys, but hey it gives the others something to "shoot" for ;)

The more information/ideas we have like this the better. The pins cost $1.50 and order from fellow in AZ. We have all kinds and he will make up special one's too with lead-time. Thank you for your input and ideas/alternatives. Now, my next thought is finding out if there would be sponsors, hardware store, gun store, grocery store, etc., willing to donate once a month. Keep on brainstorming. All ready dreaming about how we can get more in our club to try SB metallic silhouette, discussed on another board.

Just tell me if ya want me to make one for ya teeter. I'll fix it up with your club logo and whatever title ya want. I'll send it as a word document and not a PDF that way you can modify off of it too.

CZ & Dee,
Thanks for your creative ideas and actions! It is not a small thing to offer it to us all.
I would love to have a Word copy of these cerfiticates! I'll PM you guys with my email.
I think anything we can do and everything we can do will help stimulate excitement in shooters - especially new shooters!

Interesting I should find this, a friend of mine that is a member there suggest I check out this site as I am looking to try out silhoutte shooting. He introduced me to it there at the club, and we had a blast that afternoon even though I was shooting a 22lr Marlin with iron sights. Hopefully can get to shoot some matches at Hollywood Club. We were looking forward to trying it out this sunday but match was cancelled. Gonna search this site high an low and see what I need to get started. But the certificates are cool.

Be careful of some big dude named Pat that shoots there. He's really mean.

Hey Fisher, we would love to have you. We were ready to roll Sunday but would have needed hip boots to set the targets so our spineless match director cancelled unilaterally. Please show up next month at 8:30 (first Sunday of every month) and we willl have some fun. Or get ahold of me or Huey, we are there almost every day for some type of shooting practice. Kevin

Sounds good. We were there and shot with that flood LOL and I just took of my shoes, my buddy had his hunting boots on LOL. There were bream and ducks swimming around as we were shooting. I definetly ribbed a few times about this being the best range I have ever shot at considering it had "live" targets

It was pretty flooded, and my question is, were did the bream come from? My buddy says there is a lake behind the last berm, but there were ALOT of them cruising through the grass between the turkeys and rams. I am just trying to get my set up now, got a Marlin 60 that was mentioned on my other thread could do me ok for a bit until I find a bolt action rifle I like (would love to see and shoot what people are shooting at the matches) so just need to find a decent scope to get me started. Hopefully can meet you guys next time my buddy decides to go, hopefully after officially meeting Chuck I can get sponsored to join and trust me I will be there LOTS knocking down steel. Love the bowling pin you guys hung up!!

Hey fisherking73, not in FL right now but will be back in time to shoot matches at Central Florida Rifle and Pistol on Saturday (noon) and Chuluota Sportsman's Club on Sunday 9 for pistol and noon for rifle, so if you are up that way stop by, I will be there!
As for those guys at Hollywood, a lot of bark but not much bite...unless of course you run into malinios.
