I was on the range just the other day, getting my early Morning fix. After a few rounds off sweet smelling eley practice 100 i sat back to watch the gentleman next to me exercise his brand-new 54 MS... He dropped his third round Hows it off chambered it and Fired it before I had a chance to say anything...Inside I was screaming NOOOOOOOOOOO.. I Know it is his rifle, But wow that was painful. Whewwww... Later I heard him say how expensive ammo was.... I still Have chest pain ...... just venting......

I never pick up ammo....if its dropped it stays right there....til its trip to the trash.....rimfire ammo is like a grit magnet..might as well lap your barrel with rocks....

I guess I am not as picky as you guys. If I drop ammo I wipe it off and shoot it. It isn't like the bullet can have grit "adhere" to it. Just wipe it off.

You doo...doo you wish you had a truck. Besides I have seen what happens when you dump stuff in the back of peoples truck...ah...The god father don vito comes to mind.
