Okay okay I'll post a picture when I get home. . I was in a hurry last night and the camera on my phone wouldn't do it any justice. I'm really pleased with how the groups hold up at 100. I was surprised to see the RWS not hold up as well at 100. The CCI Std. shoots just about as good as the Wolf and SK+. I was shooting off a sand bag with no rear support and the trigger out of the box is pretty heavy so I know it will do better. Now I need to figure out how to adjust the trigger. Its probably just me but the Anshutz instructions don't make a lot of sense to me. They don't say how to adjust the first stage travel or weight. The 2-stage trigger on my TX200 and the Mod-22 I put on my 700 are both straight forward to adjust. Anyway my Leup 6.5x20 EFR comes in Monday and first match is a week from Saturday. I'm now out of excuses......

Does your 1712 have the tail safety or the side safety? I have the side safety one and I'm trying to figure out if I can adjust the first stage aswell. Help is appreciated!!

Side safety. From what I can tell it is the 5109 trigger.

Got to love when that CCI shoots that good. The RWS is twice as bad at 3 times the price lol. I think many people under estimate CCI SV capabilities. Sure it is not as consistent across the entire brick or case but for the money IMO if you are not at least a AAA or Master shooter you are probably just wasting money on ammo with anything much more expensive. I am hammering the low 30's with it and just now thinking about going to shooting my SK+ for all matches instead of the CCI in an attempt to make Master. Will be interesting to see if I actually pick up any more points on average over time with the higher $ ammo.

Oh and I too thought I was going to see the rifle Congrats looks like you got a nice shooting rifle. Only problem now is you can't blame the gun, one less excuse for the range bag

Thanks Mary. YES it is a little high. I'm a huge fan of the Burris Signature rings but the tallest ones are about 1/4" too low for me and these are the only spacers I had on hand. I haven't found any short spacers yet. The stock is about 1/4" to 3/8" too short so when I get that corrected I will settle on a scope height. New toys to tweak on.

Try a piece of crape shoe sole from any shoe repair shop for a extended pad. I lengthened my LOP by 3/4" that way. Will send pictures if you would like to see. There is a way to get that butplate off but it is slow work. When removed you will have to add about another 1/4" to get what you want. So a 5/8" or 3/4" piece would probably do you good.

John, not sure if it was you in another post or not but I used a heat gun as suggested and the butt plate came off with ease. I picked up a pair of black flip-flops at wallyworld for a dollar. It is a 1/2" thick and I will laminate that to a piece of plastic so it should be fust about right. Thanks for the suggestion on the shoe soles.

I would apperciate a pic. Have simular problem witrh my CZ.
