Has it that Jim, Rose Jr.(AZ) won the Canandian nationals. No scores yet but maybe when JB pulls himself away from beating up on poor old McAlice a the matches in St Louis he can get some more details.

Congrats to Jim.

McAlice, you obviously need a better spotta!

I got a text from Jr. yesterday, he took the HR title and second in the SR, thats the only thing that I got. Mary, I am not giving any names but someone here cross fired on a ram 4 banks away and then admitted it, let someone else tell you it was McAlice, cause I won't!

Four banks away??? Wow, either the targets are very close or someone had their mind on fishing still.

Joaquin, thank you...spent it at the gun show in Orlando..didn't find anything I couldn't live without. Maybe I am just getting too picky. Jason M....saw a 1903 but he wanted too much for it, talked with another that claimed he had an Achiever, but not willing to sell it yet. I'm watching man.
So Jerry, how are you doing in the infamous St Louis shoot?

And Happy Birthday from a bit further downunder to the 'Grand Old Lady of Silhouette',
(who enjoys a bit of a 'nanny nap' inbetween relays ! )

And,
(I heard a rumour that she's not as 'Innocent' as she makes out ??? )

Methinks the lady doth protest too much !
so,
Maybe time for a name change Mary ?
Maybe we should have a poll ? A chadless vote !

'Gator' Mary comes to mind !

cheers,
Sean :D

From somewhere in the middle of Kansas...................

It is true, I had my worst (best ?) crossfire ever yesterday. Mary, JB is a good spotter but not a great spotter. A great spotter would have seen that I was aiming 15 degrees north of my proper target. The shot it self was spectacular as if it was meant to be. The little dot was practicly floating motionless in the center of the ram as if the spirit of a high master had taken control of my body. I held that dot on center for what seemed like minutes admiring my new found skill. 8)

At the shot I heard the impact and saw the ram fall. This instantly created a shit eating grin on my mug. :D Then Beckley blurts out "you hit the wrong target". Turns out I smacked Goodnights #1 ram twenty targets to the north of mine. Goody was some sixty feet down the line from me and was looking around to see who the culprit was that blew his rhythm."That's a miss" said JB. To make matters worse I then hit and dumped my #1 target with shot #2. "That's a miss" Beckley said again.

Now a great spotter would have reminded his shooter to fire on target #2. I did not care because that hit was just as wonderful as the first. After the relay I fessed up to the error. Oneil was spotting for Goody just as he was about to pull the trigger and saw my hit plain as day. He commented that it was the most perfect center ram shot he had ever seen. Of course, I knew that.

Oh Mary, another thing. I witnessed my first ever ringing of a pig today. My shooter was apparently getting tired and could not buy a pig in the last relay. I believe it was his #7 pig that got hit squarely in the center of the front leg. The porker did a little dance on the rail, wobbled but stood its ground. That's a miss, too Mr. Beckley.

My dear Sean, you pit me with the wrong school! I am a UCF Golden Knight (the last of the Golden Knights) not a UF Gator. I remain Innocent of all charges, as my yet to be retained attorney is still occupied with dealing with appeals for previous charges on behalf of the last aquittal he won. And when he is done with those issues there are the Florida Bar charges that Mr Jose has to deal with as well. As for the OZ flags, shirts etc. I know almost nothing (worth knowing) and the one beer warmer is being used as we speak by one that can now purchase his own beer.

Daisy how did the shoot go in OZ, did the Dooga make it on time?

So McAlice, what you are saying is that when hit at the correct angle a ram will fall every time? Goodnight was probably enjoying the view and wondering what was happening to his shooter. The real question is did Sara have a good time? We all know JB can be a good spotter when he needs to be, but then when he is dealing with potential competition there may be some visual problems!!

Ringing pigs with what caliber? Somebody not checking their loads closely enough?

Thanks for keeping an eye out, Mary. Didn't know about your birthday, so happy belated B-day. I owe you a potato juice next April. :)

Mary, the same person that rang a pig also rang 2 or 3 Rams. I won't tell who it was, but McAlice was spotting for him. ;) It would be a 6.5x47L that did the dingy.

Bonner had a single dinger on a Ram with his 6.5x47L.

One gentleman shooting a 7BR rang two Pigs in the same set. So there were at least 3 Pigs that were dinged this weekend. There was at least a handful of Rams lost if not more.

I think we might need to work on McAlice's natural point of aim. He was slicing when he should have been hooking.

After 300 rounds of 7mm-08 I am looking forward to a smallbore match this weekend. The St. Louis match moves so fast that my barrel stayed warm from shot one to the end. (I shoot 1 gun)
