Anyone have problems with the Walther Lg300 cylinders dumping air when you remove them from the gun? I have 2 guns, Hunter and Target and 5 cylinders, 1 small light weight, 2 large and 2 quick fill. I returned the 2 large ones to champion shooters and they sent me new ones about 6 months ago, now all of them are doing it.

Happy New Year all.

I know of problems with at least a couple of cylinders down here. (I'm not certain that they're the same problems you have.)
I don't think that anyone has heard of a definite reason...
Sam Corlett may be able to help you with more.

You may want to look at targettalk.org
They have a pretty lengthy thread about Walther cylinders going...

Don't even go their Big Dawg. They were taken out of Hunter (Now Springer) class, by a bunch of winning ambushers, who shoot spring guns that have by there own admission been tuned and modified under the guise of quality control. Some would call them cheaters.

But the rules say that you can not modify a springer if you wish to shoot it in the hunter class........oh .......this is that quality control thing..........is that not texas slang for cheating?

And they thought the PCP was cheating  , well you know the old saying never hire a fox to watch the hen house, guess this applies to the rules committee

I do believe if one is challanged at the nationals, the whole house of cards will fall, since it is the challangee's resposibility to disprove the challange, food for thought

Sorry Dawg, seems liked I hi jacked my own thread.
So all we have to do is register a complaint or challenge against someone using one of these modified Springer guns, and they have to prove it

A long journey starts with one footstep

Lest we forget the chin gun and the thumbhole stocks, it is all on the wheel
what comes around goes around, they had their say now it's our turn.

How about a new rule

NO WHINGING in silhouette!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To complain or protest, especially in an annoying or persistent manner

Let's get over it

Paul, your proposal for a new rule is a good one. Especially after all we heard from TX last year was whine, whine, cry, cry, cheater guns, cheater guns

Only if we post date it back to prior 2005 this would include Texas State air gun match and winnsboro. All the whining as you so eloquently put it, that took place then, I guess was justifiable, but not so now that the rule has been changed to suit certain peoples needs. Their whine as you put it was how the pcp's need to go because it created an unfair advantage and to go as far as to get someone placed on the committee, who would turn a deaf ear to the rest of the community and follow their own beliefs and that of their club shooters and then go as so far to instruct other shooters on how to perform the Quality Contol work aka mods on a springer to create this same unfair advantage. This is not whining this is not an annoying or persistent manner, this is stating the facts and bring to light what has transpired. To want and willingly sweep it under the preverbal carpet is an injustice to this community and I for one will persist in this endeavor until a solution has been found that pleases the majority of this community not the minority and the injustice that has been done to certian members of our community has been rectified.

If this in anyway offends you then I would suggest you buy a helmet, life is hard
