Well here is a picture of my 1712 after Evelio finished
powder coating the rings and triggerguard.
He also installed a Anschutz bolt knob.

That rifle's still got nothing on your wood-stocked 40x.

red is nice, why not the same fade job on the scope that the rifle stock has?

Koldkut, Don't think that it did not cross my mind!!!
Had the scope done at Premier Reticule a couple of years ago when they still worked on Leupolds. They did complete tear down and finish work in matt black, silver, and camo colors. I ask if they could do red and they said yes. I understand that Leupolds custom shop will do anodized colors and offers a fade. But at over $750 don't think I need to replace this one just yet. But who know maybe on the 54-18 for next year.

Was going to hold back on the pics, but Paul threw down on me......and any excuse to post pics is a good excuse...
Kitty
She likes to watch tv with me in the evening........Latest additions are bead blasting and powdercoating the bolt knob, trigger, leaving the groves uncoated, and the scope covers and a set of knobs. Don't know if I like the bigger scope knobs, hence the two different kinds. Not pictured: red powdercoated sunshade and action screws.......

Well guys, looks like there is not much more you can do to those two guns to BLING them anymore, Kitty you do have to make both knobs the same, and Paul you probably can powder coat the trigger shoe blue, but anyway, I don't think either one of you will have problems locating your guns on the racks, I am not going to take sides, since you are both good customers, but I can say that both rifles are ecceptional.
Mine is still on the works, but it will not be as much attention getter as yours will be.
But one thing, I hope this rifles will do, is get both of you at least 10 more hits per 40 shots match.
Regards Evelio.
