ppkny...that is only smallbore...try the Iron Man, or Wyoming states where they add the high power.
If I wasn't preparing rifles (for five other shooters) and packing for WInnsboro, I would be there. Sounds like fun.
259...it's only a warm up for Winnie...once you get that far south, just keep on in the same direction!

Another Ironman are the one day monthlies at Winnsboro. 5 different rifles in one day for a total of 200 rounds plus practice. Sporter, Target and Open Air. Smallbore and Smallbore Hunter. All in one day. I have made all the Smallbore, Target and Open Air for 160 rounds but I cannot handle cranking that underlever for that last Sporter Match. I have seen some of the stronger folks shoot their Sporter in the Open class also because they "needed" more practice with it. I just do not have that much strength anymore.

The next Winnsboro Monthly is this Saturday also May 28, 2011. Gate will open at 9 A.M. or before. Last chance to classify before the Southern Nationals. Bruce will be the Match Director as usual.

We're riding with Pete so unless Paul and I tie him up I don't think he'll go for it. 2012 for sure, we are already planning the trip because the Nationals will be in Raton and our big trip will be to Whinny and doing the full week Air and SB.
