Does any one know if Cathy and James are OK?

From what (little) I have found out about the path of the tornado it sounds like it was south of the address for Good Shooting.

On FB this morning.

Cathy Winstead-Severin
We are okay after the storm. We were far enough north to avoid damage. Thanks to all who have checked on us.

Please continue to think about that area. There were bad storms going through there again this morning.

You are not too far from the storm ravaged area. You and your mom and dad okay? If any from that area need anything please let us know. We are less than two hours from Joplin and can mobilze a help caravan pretty quickly.

Columbia is fine. Had some wind and hail, but nothing too bad. The neighbors trampoline decided to stay in their yard this time, so no damages.

But the Kitty Patrol is always welcome.

All seems well farther north with the parents too.

Tornados can cause damage that can only be compared to war bomb damage. As a kinder unit I remember the destruction from the '53 tornado in Waco when the folks rotated back from Germany. My (younger) sister remarked about the "bomb damage" as we had been accustomed to the battle damage in Munich which we saw during Dad's tour at Furstenfeldbruck. God be with those who did not make it.

Gordon Lightfoot said it all in "The wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald...who knows where the love of God goes when the waves turn the minutes to hours.

Rick,
Been through a few tornados myself here in FL but none like they get in the Mid West..my prayers go out to them and GL's lyric quote is a great one.
