Newb from Oregon

Hello,my name is chainsaw and I am from the dry side of Oregon.Our local gun club is only 3 or 4 years old and does a little steel shooting,with 22lr mostly.Once or twice a year we shoot rifles in straight wall pistol calibers.I like those the best,I shoot a Winny model94AE in 44 mag.I put a Lyman peep and globe front sight on it.I have yet to shoot any steel with it.i am shooting 180 gr Lasercast bullets with 8 grains of Unique and mag pistol primers.The gun shoots very well with that load,I can't wait until the weather clears and the mud dries up so we can start shooting again.
anyhow,I hope to get some good info regarding the rules of silhouette shooting in the "real" world.Mainly to see if the local club is doing it to specs.
