I was wondering what shooting sport this gun would be good for? I bought it for rimfire silhouette but most people are using custom jobs or cheaper cz,remington rifles etc. Can this be used and will it be competitive?

The 54 Super Match is set up for 3-position competitions, I believe it would be too heavy, certainly too heavy for sporter-class silhouette, but if you restock it you'll have a top of the line competitor in your hands!

Great gun, but way too heavy for silhouette. I have two 1413s. One was converted to a standard class gun, with a McMillan Anschutz style stock. The barrel was cut (from the chamber end) to make weight. This conversion will leave the gun a bit barrel heavy, which I like. You could also rebarrel.

If yours is a newer super match (1813 etc) and in good shape, I wouldn't change it. Instead I'd either keep or sell it and buy a gun more suitable for silhouette
