Jerry and I have made an executive decision regarding the 2011 Southern Nationals. We are REDUCING the entry fee this year back to $160 for both rifles. We will NOT be giving away the five rifles as we did for the 20th Anniversary Match. We feel that with the cuts from the Louisiana Tourism Department and the overall economy, we would go back to our past entry fees. We refuse to cut the quality of our match and this is what we feel is in the best interest of our competitors to continue to bring a quality product to everyone. After all we just want to have a great time hosting this match and having all of our competitors have the absolute best shooting experience on the planet!

And we are all to happy to receive all those awards. Well except for the DAC cleaning kits maybe. You guys do a hell of a job putting on this match, and it is always a pleasure and a treat to come back each year. I think you always manage to add a little bit more each time to make each one a little better than the last.

Jeaux...if weren't for those DAC cleaning kits I would get nothing!! Anything else of interest I win my son (and sometimes others) either hijack for themselves or Coates sells it!!

We have heard similar statements regarding some of our "prizes" and make NO apologies as these companies go over and beyond what we consider a normal sponsorship of an event. I venture to state that not many of our competitors send a "thank you" to these companies. We are proud of all our sponsors and the great items and support that we get from them. We try to make sure that every participant wins at least two or three door prizes regardless of how large or small! After all, just think of all the fun everyone has when they win the same type of product more than once. It sure is fun giving this stuff away!

Amen to giving the stuff away Ducky, the junior clubs love the DAC cleaning kits!!
