Do you think if I add pink stickers I can start shooting like a girl? :))

jjp...with the right coaches, like the Commander or myself you will do fine.
Besides you would look good in pink.

Jason. All I can tell you is that my rifle in a Pharr stock used to be a pretty darn bright shade of pink. It was supposed to be purple and Yellow like LSU team colors, but those folks in Canada don't know a thing about LSU football or the color purple they use. The first time I brought it to Winnsboro was the last time I brought it there like that. It was off to a good dip job right away after Winnsboro. I can guarantee McLemore will have some really nice things to say to you out of earshot of others about pink stickers on your rifle. You will probably get a good laugh out of it, but then you will probably remove the stickers pretty quickly.

Those are very nice looking stocks. Try em like them come for a while and then if you really need the pink, you are on your own. I still laugh about David's comments to me when he saw my rifle the first time, but it doesn't look like it did anymore either.

Jeaux, You talking about Winnsboro makes me so ready for some shooting and the beer wagon. :D I can't wait to shoot air rifles and smallbore. Nothing like shooting for 4 days in a row.

Jeaux...David has never said anything about Coates pink rifle, why would you let a few comments from him disturb you? Maybe because of the LSU resemblance?

Mary, I wasn't really offended by David's comments as much as I was not happy with the fact that my rifle did not have the colors that I wanted in the first place. That was the primary reason I got the color change and the carbon fiber dip done on it. I thought David's comments about the rifle were funny as hell and would have kept it that way just to antagonize him if for nothing else. I just plain wanted a different look more in line with what I originally wanted. Evelio offered to send it back when he got it in, but I did not want to wait for the several month delay to get another one made in the correct colors. No regrets at all. You will come to see that you have to dig deep to get under my skin. I have been selling machine work and machinery repairs to some of the most cantankerous people you can imagine for the past 15 years and have learned how to disarm the best of them and get a lot of personal entertainment dealing with such folks. They usually end up being some of my best customers. Maybe David was just speechless when it comes to trying to comment on Coate's rifle, although I personally think "speechless" is a condition that David has never suffered from.

I think I'll need dark glasses if I'm next to you on the line. Nice color, what a stand out.

They need to come up with a new word. "Bling" just doesn't cover it. B-)
