Let the real reason be known.... For those that missed it the last match at Chatanooga today led by none other than Ed Jones aka Gator was during his 70th birthday. Great match as usual, beautiful weather and nice crowd, and a fantastic dinner at City Cafe after was worth any hassle through the airport. Last but not least is that I flew without rifle again, and shot borrowed new rifle from one of Ed's classmates, a new shooter and it performed nicely. Thank you Don R., I look forward to seeing your lovely bride with you at more matches next year. A spedcial thanks also goes to Pink 22 who came to Atlanta during rush hour traffic on Friday to get me.

Hey – thanks and Thanks to all that came. Had 23 shooters, a great cake (said “Happy Birthday Grandpa”) that turned your tongue blue, excellent dinner at the Café, couldn’t ask for better weather and most of all; surrounded by FRIENDS. Wife Verlee, Grandma Dale & Kim, old friend and former room mate, skiing, fishing and hunting buddy Don and wife Kay, Pink 22, Innocent (sometimes the name just don’t fit), John & Barbara drove up from Brunswick for the food and others that snuck up on me and made the day great.
Gotta go snort a little mentholatum and shoot some airgun. Keeping the old 70 year old bones a –movin’.
Ah yea, the world is good.
