I am not sure if it is a Vari-X III or a VX 3.... I am out of touch a little with all the changes in Leupolds line up. I bought it 2 years ago and it mostly was in the safe on a .22

Absolutely nice shape...no flaws. Has the fine duplex reticle, sunshade, extra larger knobs. I dont have the box and do not know the part number for the scope.

$575.00 takes it. Again...dont PM me with wanting it. The first "I will take it "..will get it. I will PM you with a mailing adresse for sending certified funds.

A current model sells for $750.00 at SWFA....WOW!!

Sometimes your best intensions go up in flames. I just got home from work and saw I had an email , not a PM, from a registered Steelchickens member wanting to buy it. It was sent at 9:08 this morning. I answered him and am waiting for his reply. The agreed price is still $575. and I will pay shipping in the US. He is first in line to buy it.

If he backs out...Eric will get the next slot to buy it. Sorry Don, no sale at $550. I got more than that into it and it is LNIB except no B. :)

UPDATE....8:25pm MST.... the first guy has contacted me and will be buying it. Scope is sold pending funds. I apologize for this situation and will contact you Eric if it falls thru.

Hey thinks for the answer, I was very sick last year, doctors told my sister to plan my funeral, she sold my guns all 24 of them (m1a, 1712, 700's, ECT) to some shister for 1200.00. I fooled them and starting to shoot some again. Maybe next time .

Sorry to hear that sad story , Don. Maybe we should organize a Steelchickens goon squad to pay that bastard a visit. I was thinking me, Beckley, Malinois, Innocent, and the Commander could take a little trip to Georgia and........

Glad to read you gave the Grim Reaper the slip......good shooting to you sir.

Inside my safe is an envelope with my wife's name on it. Inside is a list of my guns and their potential values. She doesn't need to know how much they are worth now, but if I should fall ill or pass away, then she will hopefully see that and get fair prices for my firearms. I don't have many, but I have enough for her to take a nice vacation! :D

Don, glad to hear that you are tougher than they gave you credit for!

JB, I have already travelled to New Mexico over this type of situation, only it did not include any money...but I am more than willing to visit over that type of purchase.
Don this is close to home, better yet post names so I know who to avoid.
Trent, mixed feelings about not telling spouse how much something costs. Nothing to be ashamed of for fine tuned equipment, of any kind. I have seen many try to sell at the price paid for firearms which is also riduclious, as this leaves no room for the buyer to make any money if it is truly a dump of equipment. Having seen a number of widows find out this type of stuff after the husband is gone can produce some very interesting emotions.

Sure, but at least she won't dump them all for $1000. Most of my stuff is vintage, so what I paid is less than what it is worth now. In my case we are lucky enough that she wouldn't need to "dump" any of my guns to pay for med bills. I just know she wouldn't keep any of my guns, and we have no kids at this point for me to pass them down to so she would eventually sell them (I would hope). The note is strictly to keep her from getting ripped off in case of my untimely demise, not for her to make money on them.
