I was able to take advantage of really nice conditions yesterday morning to make it happen. I had a 25 going into my last animal, chickens, and managed to clean them all to finish with a 35 and get my last leg into standard rifle. It took me just over 4 years since I shot my first smallbore silhouette rifle match and a lot of practice. It feels good.

I should also have mentioned that Dee shot his first master level score ever. He shot a 32/40 in the standard match. It did not count as a master score in that match, but it was a personal best for him and I know he was pumped about it. He has been getting better and better and keeps me on my toes. Of course, we have Jerry Tureau to set the pace for us at most of our matches.

Jeaux, there is nothing like a litle competition to push you to your limits and Jerry is one to do that.
Keep working at it and listen to Jerry, he has a lot of experience.
