Is it okay o shoot a 1827 fortner Anshutz Biathlon rifle for shilhoutte?
Wondering of it fits inside the rules or box as it sits?

Out of the box as Biathlon the stock will not make it... But you can have it inlet into the McMillan or Pharr stock and shoot Standard with it.

Again excuse my lack of understanding. The gun as a whole will not work but the barrel and action can be fitted into another qualifying stock?
A MCMillian and a Phar are aftermarket stocks? Not sure what Inlet means with regard to rifle stocks?

Inlet simply means that the action will need to be 'Fit" into the stock by custom machining the stock inside where the action and barrel fit to insure that the bearing points are correct for a praticular action assembly.

Here is a picture of a 1827 Anschutz I had built and in a McMillan stock for Std Rifle. Loved that Fortner action......


I also used a short 54.18 magazine well and the standard 5 round magazines to have it flush with the bottom of the stock, as the standard 1827 magazine well is long, as you already know.

That looks like a great setup.
Thanks for the photo is this gun then legal for the standard class?
Would it matter if the stock was the Keyhole stock?

Yes I shot it in the Nationals and a few local matches and my friend had a left handed one as well, both from Neal Johnson's when they were in business.
Any stock that meets the dimensions and fits the jig would be legal.
