Anyone know the 2011 dates and locations?
My trip to the SB nationals was cancelled by family events, and now I have a wedding on the last day of HP.
SO, When and where are 2011's championships? Tom

Tom, The 2001 Nationals will be in Ridgway sometime in August; I am told. They were asked by the NRA to have them again next year so they don't conflict with the YHEC competition at Raton in the same year. Mark Holsopple may have the dates.

I had not heard that the Nationals for 2011 would also be held in Ridgeway. I was thinking I had 2 years to get ready for going to the Nationals in PA. right after Winnie. Will have to try and fit it in next year as I hear the Ridgeway Nationals is the one to attend. Raton Sounds interesting but after reading what I have in the past it is hard to get excited about going there.

Hey Dee, if the nationals are in Ridgeway next year in August, that will give us a little time to recover from the SN. Time to get you a HP gun.

If it's in ridgeway, i'm gonna skip it. travel from the west coast is a bit much for both the SN and Nats.
I'm doin SN this year. Just can't swing the Nats.

I shot the Pa. State Semi-Auto MAtch to day with MArk Holsopple. The 2011 Nationals will start with SB on the last Sunday in July and Hp will end on the first Saturday in August. Check your calendars. Al

Dee...there are advantages and disadvantages to both Ridgeway and Raton. Take the nationals with a grain of salt...period, they are nothing like the Southern Nationals, Conard Cup (also known as CBC or Pe Ell), they do not hold a candle to many of the state championships that I have attended, but they are "the Nationals". The Hosopples are great hosts in Ridgeway and from what I have seen of the other matches they run (Sierra Classic)they are capabale of running a great match, Raton is a beautiful facility that unknown to many is run by a seperate organization from the NRA, the Whittington Club. The camping and boarding facilities and local hotels cater to the shooters, granted the actual match is not as well organized as Ridgeway, due to a lack of strong leadership with the testicles to stand up to Greg Conner and his antics. Worth the trip out wast though, whether for a nationals or not.
