As I've been getting so many requests/inquiries as to the competition the 1-2 May in Dublin, here is the link to the results. TX Charlie has most of the pictures. It's fair to say that USA was well represented. Susan C was convinced to compete (her first EVER) and blew them out of the water.

It was a great competition, great food, and a fantastic range. Thanks to all that made it possible. And a big thanks to those that let us borrow their equipment.

A few pictures.....More to come.
Ireland is a wonderful place to visit...a shooting match with a great holiday. I truly enjoyed the people and interesting sights during our week stay. A big thanks to Brenda, Henry, Mike, Fabian, Declan, Tourism Office folks and all the people on the street helping us find where we were going. If you have the opportunity to shoot this match next year, PUT IT ON YOUR CALENDAR NOW.
Susan put on quite a shooting demo, 34-39= 73 in SBR, 38-38=76 in Hunter.. shot this with a borrowed rifle.
Again, I profess luck has been on my side this year…The airport had to close down 24 hours after we left Ireland due to the volcano ash, again. We got home instead of being one of many stuck in the airports waiting on a clear sky.
C-Ya,
Charlie

Impressive. Did the USA shooters have to borrow all their stuff or were they able to get their goods in?
I know they could a few years ago but I heard it was getting harder...

It is not difficult, just accomplish the necessary paperwork, Brenda supplies all the information. I chose to borrow equipment to make my travel much easier. My shooting is for fun, travel is for fun...easier is better. The German, French and Finnish shooters brought their equipment.

Congratulation Charlie. You did great for just 'having fun'. You did great for competing. Also, happy to hear that the charm of the Irish is still there.
