So why is it?

That when a guy decides to stop making custom one of a kind precision machined parts for shooters for like 10 bucks an hour and direct his skills to projects that pay one helluva a lot more muny , all of a sudden there are like 4 to 6 phone calls a day saying that you just can't quit and walk away cuz...blah, blah, blah.
Still scratching my head over this stuff. I'm thinking, where the heck were you guys during the last 15 years or so?
So I went out and did an inventory of what I have left in stock. I have some Anschutz Ultra-Lite tapered base and ring assemblies left... 1.0 dia tube...1.0 high, .875 high, and .750 high, all with an 11 MOA Tapered base. These assemblies weigh just a hair under 3 ounces.
I also have several of the Std. weight and Airweight tapered base and ring assemblies fo Anschutz 1712's, and 54's that use a std. .500 wide dovetail like a Davison / Kelby base. These are 1.95, 1.30, 1,125, 1.187, and .800 high from the top of the receiver to the bottom of the scope tube. These dimensions include the 11 MOA Tapered base. These come in at about 4 ounces. Much more robust than the Ultra Lite Assemblies for the guy and gals who do not have weight problems.
I also have some 1.0 diameter Rem. 700 stuff left in .875 high and .75 high with the 11 MOA taper cut into the base like Jason's rifle now on display in the Highpower page.
