What does a McMillian stock weigh?

I looked on McMillian's page, but I could not find the nominal weight for a Anschutz style stock for the 40X. Does anyone know? I was thinking of putting in a 40X with the 28 inch slim taper barrel, and I was wondering about the weight issue. They actually have a demo stock available. I didn't want to replace or cut the barrel. Thanks.

McMillan Master Silhouette - $407 – 2.75 Lb
H&S Thumb Hole Silhouette - $380 – 3.0 Lb
I got this off their sites when I was trying to figure out which stock to order. I couldn't find it on the McMillan site when I looked today.

If you are serious, call them. I toured the shop a little over a year ago fr work reasns, and was surprised at all the possible options they had. I mentioned being a silhouette shooter and one of the guys handed me a carbon fiber based model that was about a pound, maybe less.
If you know a target weight I'l bet they can tell you what you need; it wont be their first rodeo!

Another thing to consider in making your decision... Nomad had picked up on something about H & S hiring Lon Horiuchi to work for them... I cornered one of the H&S guys at SHOT show and asked point blank if this was true and he confirmed it. Started to tell me who Horiuchi is and I rudely interrupted him to tell him we had nothing more to discuss. I doubt McMillan has ever hired anyone who has shot a woman holding a baby, so they would be my choice. Horiuchi killed Vicky Weaver.

CWS, Thank you for that confirmation and reminder, there is something about keeping the sport of shooting clean.
