When dry firing on a spent cartridge is it o.k. for fire repeatedly on the same cartridge case without rotating the case to for firing pin to hit in a different spot each time. I know it is probably best to use the plastic dry fire cartridges made by Pachmayr or other brands but they cost as much to use as shooting cheap ammo.

A spent case is fine. I usually dry fire 3 - 5 times then change the case.

Just save a bunch next time you go to the range.
