Brand new here. I just got a CZ 452-2E ZKM yesterday. It is not new, just new to me. It was used by a silhouette shooter as I understand, but he wanted something bigger and better, whatever that might be. I queried the guys on RFC whether i should get it at the price offered, and three came back and said if I didn't, they were going to race each other to it. I was there when the dealer opened yesterday. It looks brand new, not a mark on it. But i can tell looking at the magazine and the bolt when I wiped it down, that it has been shot some. The trigger has had a lighter spring put in it and it feels awesome. The clerk at the store appeared to know who had previously owned it, but wouldn't divulge the information.

My question starting off here is what height rings do I need for a 44 mm AO Federal Intensity 6.5x24 scope. I am taking it off another rifle to put on this one. I have been shooting a Mossberg 44b for years, and finally making the jump to something newer. I was told Leupold 11 mm rings, but the source failed to say what height. C'est le vie. I don't want to have to play "buy & return for the other one" if i can help it.

Looking forward to getting it set up. I wAs not a fan of the black synthetic stocks, but it is looking better and better every time i pick it up. From what little I have read, these are supposed to shoot very well. Probably a lot better than my tired old bones will handle, but what fun. TB man:

BKL rings are the gold standard, so start there. They work well for most of us, and they'll give you a great start. If they're too tall, look at the clearance between your scope bell and the barrel to estimate how much lower you can go. My guess is that's as low as you can go. For taller, BKL has risers in several styles
