Hello, I have a 1710 monte carlo wood that was broke at the pistol grip during shipping. My gunsmith glued it together for me so I could use it until I got a new stock. Stock seems to be structurally sound but there is some wood splintered off at the joint. I don't know what your project intails but if you are going to do any wood modifications and have to refinish the stock, this might be OK for your project. I was going to keep it and swap the stocks out for squirrel hunting so I wouldn't scratch my good stock but never did. If you are interested I will sell it for $75.00 plus $15.00 for shipping.

Mark Pharr has the stock off my rifle- which is new and I've never seen - and he said it looks very nice. $125.00 and it's yours - The rifle started out as an Anschutz 1702 but Mark is putting on a Benchmark Barrel and one of his stocks. Let me know if you're interested. My email is [email protected]. Thanks.....John Clark
