Today they had their monthly 2 forty shot small bore matches in Tucson. I was there to check out the range before our state match in Oct. A kid shows up that has never shot silhouette before and posts a 30/40 on his first match! Tyler Rico is an Across the Course shooter though! His score came down a little on the second match, but darn! I don't know what all these kids are eating or drinking or if it's a specialized vitamin, but GIVE ME SOME OF THAT! The good news is long after the match was over, and everyone else was all but gone, this kid was still shooting swingers (like and old hound dog that you have to throw in your truck cause it isn't about to stop hunting on it's own)! The best news is that this kids Mom was waiting all along with out a complaint. Thanks for all the parents who give their kids time for shooting and everything else that comes up.

Amen to the support from the parent/s....but give us a chance and we'll have her shooting sillywet too.

Please tell me the club is supporting this youngster! Folks have asked if I ever get tired of losing to Mallory, and all I can say that sure, I'd love to shoot well enough to beat here, but if she shoots better, ain't it great to have such a good shot in the club?
