If you haven't made plans yet, the Texas Nationals are tomorrow at Bayou Rifles (Addicks Range). First animal dies at 9:30am. Got a ton of prizes, great food and....shooting. Bring an air rifle and a friend (there will be a couple for lease) and come shootin. The weather is perfect, no wind, no humidity! SB match on Sunday. This will get you tuned up for the Lousiana State match next weekend, where I hear MW gets a pair of Aligator boots!
Void where prohibited, must be present to win, and children under 18, especially with the initials ES, will be harassed by all.
This is going to be a seriously great match!

I would have tried even harder to come. Hope all is well and good for Y'all. I'm rooting for everyone with the initials ES.

Limey, we're gonna have to confiscate those little blue pills. Glad you're back, hope you are doing ok. You will be missed.
Innocent, you may NOT have Limey's pills.
Range is set up nicely. Scads of elbow room, E and Mom are pre-cooking lunch, tacos, queso, Motl japalenos and ALL the fixin's. Brownies and cobbler for desert, peach and blueberry. Nice and cool tomorrow,it's gonna be a great day. SB matches on Sunday. Should be ready for La. State match.

PS...what would I do with Limey's little blue pills? You should be able to figure out that I would need large pink pills by now!
All kidding aside I wish you the best but having your competition cooking lunch for you and the rest of the shooters, so you can relax and shoot is dirty pool. Such a twisted mind you have.
Good luck to all and sorry I missed it, had a blast during my first full audit...now to see if I stay QM or get moved again, as I produced enough evidence to have the aduitor ask to stop the audit and come back when upper level managers are willing to show backing of the entire system. I'll get to shoot next weekend in CO.
Keep us posted as to who and what the scores are. I'm sure Gator and Malinios will let us know how things are in PA once they come up for a breath.

Congrats to the winners and all the other top finishers. Pat really put on a show winning two of the 3 classes!
Wish I could have made it out but only so much I can do a month.

Dee, I may be wrong but my guess is the Steiger listed winning is Elisabeth.

Thanks Paul,
Sorry I've been busy with the paperwork. I didn't shoot. I don't think I could shoot 55 out of 100. It was the kid, Elisabeth, who did the shootin. She got her Std Rifle grand slam the next day with 10 in a row turkeys right off the bat. Shot 36/36 to edge Bill 32/36. Of course if Bill had used his turkey settings to start the match in stead of his chicken settings............(I've never done that.....not! ).
Good match, I had a tremendous amount of help. William Zander, Bill Motl, Paul Freeman, Larry Engle, Greg Gudenburr, Cliff Landry, Mark and Rob Ellis, Brad Bishop. My wife Lori and Elisabeth cooked lunch. I absolutely could not have done it without all the help. We had others like John Neihouse and Bob Zimmerman who donated prizes and never showed......The range was beautiful, the matches move expeditiously, food was great, and the weather perfect......except for the bit o' wind we had whilst shooting target rifle. Next year we'll do the long run attempts AFTER the awards. As it turned out we were still done shooting by 4:30pm. A big THANK YOU to all.

I don't see how Duckgumbeaux can put on such a quality match EVERY year. It is a huge amount of work.

Pat, You hit the nail to a quality match on the head, which how Sgt ODucky does it. HELP. He has great support and makes use of it.
Congrats on pulling off a great match, looks likes the shooters had a good time, and of course Congrats to E for finishing her grand slam, finally got those ten turkeys....must'a been the spotta, good job Dad. BTW thanks for taking such great care of my adopted daughter!!!lol

John, some things are just more important. I understand and can't wait to see Mal and E go toe to toe. Will E still carry her around like a kid sister AFTER Mal beats her?
Dee, I'm honored that anyone would suggest that I could shoot 55/60. It was with regret that I had to fess up.

Someone would have ratted me out anyway. Bill was having problems with his open gun. I think the regulator was leaking throwing the pellets. Larry was shooting a TX-200, but that isn't an excuse as he shoots the TX better than anyone but Bill or Bruce Finley. I wish Limey had come on down and broght the Crosman guns for us to play with.
thanks again for all the help.

E may carry her around, but she may be awful tempted to drop her on her head

...When is E going to make her highpower debut? We're planning on bringing Mal to Zwolle...This has been a memorable year for E...quite the young lady, quite the competitor...and it will only get better...going to be fun to watch these kids over the next few years..

Is it wrong that I enjoy the Kids whupping us? We got a blond, brunette and redhead that are so busy beating each other they don't notice how humble they leave the rest of us!
