Hello,
I've been a long-time lurker, too embarrassed to add anything to your conversations, but now I'm scanning the experts to find out more about a recent purchase of mine from RFC. It's an Anschutz 1566 22LR; Anschutz barrel (marked "modell 1566) attached to a CZ action...Weird combo but I think it's all factory, and not unprecedented. Anschutz had the Anschutz/Krico modell 1568 centerfire.

So I'm wondering whoever the Anschutz historian is here might be able to add to the conversation.

PS
I'm feeling as though this could be my ideal silhouette rig

Ditto, GoW! 1700 style stock with factory inletting and Anschutz barrel. Stupid question Jeff, but how do you know it's a CZ action? Sure looks like one. That model is listed in the index of a book shown online, but they don't have the text online.

Looks like a pretty decent rifle.

It's already been on RFC-CZ forum, about two years ago, where the debate was "which CZ action #2, #5?" and those guys were talking the fine points of trigger group, bolt style, magazine housing, so there seems little doubt that it's a CZ action. I haven't run it through RFC-Anschutz forum yet.

The modell 1566 from ano 1967 (I bought the catalogue) is the Krico Action but came as a .243 centerfire only.
