Twas the week before Nationals....

Twas the week before Nationals and all throught the land,
Everything was going pretty much as planned.

The guns, all clean, were stored in the safe,
While Kolby and Mallory, those two little waifs,

Slept soundly while dreaming
Of big granite trophies all sparkliing and a'gleaming.

Team Kitty stands ready
Their aim will be steady.

From up out of Texas will come quite a group,
Stand by and let us give you the scoop:

Mark Pharr and the Steigers, both P and E,
Bill Motl, Paul Freeman, and a gunsmith-EMC-, Evelio McDonald, that would be he.

Others from Texas too numerous to mention,
They'll all be shooting well, which adds to the tension.

Cathys a'comin from up in Missouri,
She'll vie for the Championship, she'll shoot like a fury.

Augustin and Tony from out California way
Hope to take the big trophy home to stay.

Innocent Mary from Florida flying, she'll have a good trip,
Hoping the airlines her guncase don't rip.

Make your list, check it twice,
Then set your sights on a shooter's paradise.

A place called Raton, full of deer, antelope, and bear,
We all look forward to seeing you there.

I didn't think I'd be saying this right before Nationals, John, but you obviously have too much time on your hands. :)
