Right now, on Rimfire Central, there is a thread going on called: "A 200 yard Metallic Silhouette Match". I thought some of you would be interested.

So far it's been read 559 times and has 38 responses. That's a LOT of activity in just 10 days. I was suprised at the amount of interest it generated.

We started "On-Line" benchrest matches over there in 2001. Those matches have been going every month since. A couple of guys tried to start Silhouette in 2003 using paper targets. It went over like a lead balloon. I thought of pushing it with real Iron Animals at the time, but was too busy running the statistics and score bulletins on the USBR benchrest matches.

Metallic Silhouette is a topic seldom posted on Rimfire Central. It's not just benchrest talk in this thread. There are talking "Stand Up" NRA shooting like you guys are into.

I think it would be a good thing to see some of you Iron Animal experts contribute to this thread. . . Seem there are a lot of clubs doing non-sanctioned benchrest matches on the little animals, and out to 200 yards.
