Arizona State SB Match

Post by Jim Beckley »

The Az State SB Match is scheduled for the 3rd and 4th of October, not to early to start making your plans to attend now! May Warren is the match director, unless her grand child arrives on that weekend, and then it will be yours truly! Programs will be forthcoming. Any questions contact May or myself.

If I can drive that far south after the Colorado match at CRC the last weekend of Sept. I'll be there. That is at the 3 Point range about 25 miles west of Tuscon.

Jerry, Trying to stay warm? I can't commit, as we will probably still be worshiping the sun by that weekend in Golden, but if we are done I'll try to catch a flight south before coming east.

You coming to CRC JB? Missed you at last years CO.

No not at Ben Avery. Tucson Rifle Club (TRC). About 25 miles west on Tucson right around mile marker 148. Exit I-10 onto 1-19 in south Tucson take the first exit which is Ajo Way, head west and you will run right into the range.

Mary, the CO state SB will be at Aurora this year, Sept. 26 & 27.

You wont have to drive forever on I-70, go past the smelly buffalos, down a long dusty prarie road to get to CRC, one of the wests finest shooting facilities.

You will ,how ever, still have to shoot with those crazy Colorado shooters.

Jerry....shooting at Aurora will put you 65 miles closer to Tucson, too. You will have five days.....plenty of time to make that 900 mile journey south! :)

I guess I can't slip one past you Bob. I'll try my best to make it there. Any shooting facility that is on GUN CLUB ROAD can't be all bad.

McAlice, already have the dates in mind for fratnizing with those crazy CO shooters, and I didn't mind the smelly buffalos...they are not any worse than some of our gators, you realize you have to sandblast the gators before you skin them. Thank the Germans for delaying the annual trip to CO by a few days due to them hosting a big PV global warming conference that week, so the Swiss and Itialians could not come any earlier.

Jerry G....five days isn't that long to make a 900 mile trip in unless it is cold and the front is pushing you.

259..never mind what the gator thinks, the fun is sitting in the local street wokrshop/barn also, known as Braodacres Bar, convincing the city folks the proper way to clean a gator, with all the apporpriate tools (ceiling hoist, bags of blasting media, etc.) in plain view.
