Got my rifle back after having it rebarreled and I'm getting acquainted with it. It seems like the trigger might not be as consistent as it used to be. I haven't cleaned it in the 2 years+ that I've had it. What's the best way to clean it out? I've done a fair number of trigger jobs in my time, but I think I'll pass on taking this contraption apart.

Flush ot with lighter fluid and blow it dry.

Rinse it out with the solvent of your choice and blow it out with compressed air. Maybe Brakleen and then lightly oil major pivot points? Ed's Red is a great choice if you have access to a proper cleaning vat.

You may want to to take off the action since only two screws hold it on, just don't tell Evelio I knew that...

Yeah, I assumed that I would be taking it off the action. I was just wondering if there would be any risk of losing necessary lubricants if I rinsed it out with a solvent, whether it be alcohol or lighter fluid, and blew it out or just let it dry.

I've used CRC Electronics spray cleaner for years on my Walther GSP triggers and then needle lubed the bearing points and lightly wiped down the outside.

Lighter fluid works but not alcohol and both are too flammable for open shop work, never mind that we used it in basic.

Ed's Red has the virtue of leaving some lubricant behind and in a proper cleaning vat is fairly safe from fire. Brakleen is non-flammable, readily available and flashes off quickly.

Tsi301 and forget it. That's what the anschutz repair place instructed me to do with mine. Worked like new. Chicken

Looks like a high quality synthetic cleaner/lubricant aerosol and an excellent idea. Ballistol, Breakfree CLP, Eezox and Remoil aerosols look similar.
