I would like to know if taking a Browning A-Bolt .22 cal. rifle and putting a high quality barrel with a match grade chamber is worth building. This rifle would be for the smallbore hunting class.

I would probably just find what ammo it likes and shoot it as is....The A bolt is a nice rifle. That is if you are just starting out. Later your taste might change as to what works best for you and then you can go from there.
