Butch Hongisto (benchrest cutom builder) has been suggesting Broughton, though I haven't been able to test one yet.

The Marv thinks highly of Shilen.

Mr. Marvin is putting a shilen on my Modelle Match 54 right now. I've also got a Lilja on my 1712, we'll have to see witch is the better shooter. A lot of the guys I'm shooting with are having good luck with the Pac-Nor barrels.

My advice, Mr. Dead Eye...for what is is worth... Spend the extra $$$ at Shilen and get the Select Match barrel..... In .22 LR, I like the 16 twist. But Hey, your mileage may vary.

Shakes, I think the guys you shoot with that use PacNor barrels are referring to their high power guns. Awe hell, I know they are becuse I did the work for them.

DWL....I am, and always will be, the original, and one and only, thread killer... It's ok...you too may to assend into this lofty position with several more attempts. Just keep mentioning my name and the people will shut the ....you know what.....up..... very fast.
