Who has a Weatherby Mark XXII???

I am thinking about getting one. I just bought a CZ 452 Varmint about a month ago, I am thinking about getting a Weatherby in a few months. I just seem to be drawn to the rifle. I am not really into the high quality wood (i would like it just as much with synthetic stock) but I just like everything about the rifle. I know there are a few people that have complained of bad accuracy, but that seems to be pretty rare. I am just wondering, who out there is using the Weatherby for silhouette? It seems to be made for it. I know the CZ is a little less accurate and the trigger might not be "anschutz quality". How is the weight and balance of the Mark XXII? I really like the weight of my Varmint and I would just like to know how they compare.

A member of our club uses one and it is a beautiful rifle. Much lighter than your Varmint, well balanced and very accurate. Highly recommended.
And welcome back to the world.

Like BlauBear, there is a person at our club who purchased one this year for Silhouette and it looks and shoots great, in fact he shot his personal best scores this year.

I think I am pretty sold on getting one. I'm going to shoot a few more matches with my CZ though before I commit to anything else. Maybe I'll run across someone that has one and check one out in person since I haven't been able to find one in any gun shop around. I was just thinking that if I get one and don't like the lighter weight, I could always add some weight to the front of the stock under the barrel.

I have one, have yet to make a match. 50 yards one hole, 100 1/2 min. off the bench. I think it has excellent balance and feel for an off hand gun.

Found 2 that shoot identically
1. Eley Silouex the old stuff, white lable. New stuff shot poorly in my gun.
2. Remmington Target Rifle, manufactured by Eley. Yellow lable with green stripe. Stuff shoots great and is available. stopped testing withthis ammo.
