Well like some of you know I had a serious bout of the CAI (CranalAnalInsertion) about 2 months back and LOST my action screws... Have been borrowing rifles, etc.
Anyway, went to go to the match last night and decided to take my son.... I grabbed a CZ that I bought off a guy last week with a BSA mounted on it and a brick of ammo from a case AJJ brought me back from Winnie this year.
Got to the range about 6 PM, match starts at 6:30. No targets had been set. Called the line cold, and rounded up some folks to set the targets for practice...
By 6:27 - Targets had been set, I ran through the benches and had some ROUGH zeros and Trace and I had put about 10 shots each down range

Great shooting CG.... A CZ is a fine rifle for sure, but I do like my ' Kitty bling' better

Yes, the same CZ I bought from you, then sold to a junior, they ended up selling / trading scopes and ended up w/ a BSA on it. Bought it back last week.
Trigger was really nice.... I was a little out of tune with pre-loading, but got in the swing of things quickly. Nice little rig... Was gonna sell it, but might keep it for it's origional purchase intent, to be a back up rifle / loaner.... Arguement could be made that I should just shoot that one! LOL, but that would defeat the verry validity or the point .... It's 90% between the ears!

Hey George...I would have to say I can relate. I started with a used $195 NS522 and a Weaver KT15. Due to the testicals and testosterone, I had to get me a Anschutz. Although I did not lose my action screws, I have managed build 2 NS522s as loaners. One week night, while sighting in my second NS522 with Federals bulk ammo, I managed 9 out of 10 turkeys. And yes, I have a witness! It was CRAZY! I mean why do we get the "fancy stuff" when the basic stuff is just fine?
I let a guy use it the next weekend, as a newbie, he got 18/40! Go figure! This whole game is a journey. Lesson to all, never sell your first gun or that starter gun. You'll find later on, you can't buy animals. You just buy confidence in your ability to hit animals...which after that has been developed....any gun/ammo works damn good for the size targets we shoot at.
Glad to hear you have Jr. on the way to whipping us all in a few years!

JD is right! I should have stopped with that CZ and saved money & aggravation! But nooo - I had to catch Anschutz fever!
